  The Battenkill and Hoosic River

The Battenkill and Hoosic are rich in fly fishing heritage.  These waters are home to some outstanding mayfly hatches, including the late summer white fly hatch on the Hoosic.

The stretch of the Hoosic we fish is three miles of private and isolated water that receives minimal fishing pressure.  Twenty inch rainbows and twenty inch and larger brown trout are not uncommon on this river.

This is a guide and lodging package available weekdays from mid June through mid October.  Lodging is in a riverfront lodge with three private suites with full amenities.  Lunch is included on your fishing days.  There are some excellent restaurants nearby or you may wish to prepare your own meals in your fully equipted kitchen and enjoy the lodge's tranquility.
